Safe use guide

Your baby's safety comes first in everything we make. Our infant loungers are made for supervised, awake time: cuddles on the floor, tummy time and quiet moments while you're right there. Please read this guide and the warnings on your lounger's label before first use, and keep them for later.

Always

  • Place the lounger on the floor, with your baby on their back, face up.
  • Stay near and watch your baby the whole time they're in the lounger.
  • After tummy time, turn your baby onto their back.
  • Keep blankets, pillows, toys and other soft items out of and away from the lounger.
  • Keep the lounger away from stairs, pets and anything your baby could pull down.
  • Check the lounger and cover before each use. Stop using it if a seam, the fabric or the fill is damaged.

Never

  • Never use the lounger for sleep or naps, including overnight.
  • Never place it inside a crib, bassinet, play yard or bed, or use it as a sleep surface.
  • Never use it on a bed, sofa, table, counter or any raised or soft surface.
  • Never carry or move the lounger with your baby in it.
  • Never add extra padding, blankets or a second cushion inside the lounger.

If your baby falls asleep

It happens, and that's okay. Gently move your baby to a crib or bassinet. For sleep, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that babies sleep alone, on their back, on a firm, flat surface with a fitted sheet and no soft bedding.

When to stop using the lounger

Stop using the lounger once your baby reaches the age, weight or developmental limits printed on the label, or as soon as they can roll or crawl out of it on their own.

Washing and care

Machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle with a dye-free detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Air dry flat or tumble dry on low. Make sure the lounger and cover are completely dry before use.
